PRIVACY
POLICY

Last updated: 24 June 2026

C6 Boards is committed to protecting your privacy. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Swedish law.

This policy explains what information we collect, why, how we use it, and what rights you have. If you have any questions, contact us at info@c6boards.com.

Information we collect

When you place an order or contact us, we may collect:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • IP address

  • Order and payment details (handled by our payment provider, not stored by us directly)

How we use this information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfill your order, including shipping and customs documentation where applicable

  • Communicate with you about your order or inquiry

  • Respond to warranty, return, or support requests

  • Send you marketing emails and newsletters, but only if you've actively opted in

  • Understand and improve how our website and products are used

We do not use your information for any purpose beyond these without first asking you.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails or newsletters to people who have explicitly opted in, either by signing up on our website or during checkout. We do not automatically add you to marketing lists, and placing an order does not opt you in to marketing.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us at info@c6boards.com.

Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with:

  • Our payment processor (Stripe), to process payments

  • Our shipping carriers (UPS, and occasionally DHL), to deliver your order, including any customs documentation required for international shipments

  • Our accounting provider, for bookkeeping and tax purposes

  • Wise, for manually arranged orders paid by bank transfer

We do not share your personal information with advertisers.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies to support core shopping functionality, such as your shopping cart and checkout. We also use Google Tag Manager, which may load additional tools such as analytics or advertising pixels (for example, a Meta/Facebook pixel) to help us understand site traffic and measure the performance of any ads we run.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some site features, such as adding items to your cart, may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

See our Cookie Policy for more details.

Data retention

We retain order and customer information for as long as needed to fulfill legal, accounting, and warranty-related obligations. Swedish bookkeeping law requires financial records to be kept for at least 7 years (and in some cases longer, for example VAT-related records), and our accounting system may retain this data for longer than the legal minimum, since it is not automatically deleted. We do not use this retained data for any purpose beyond legal and accounting compliance once your order has been completed.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate data

  • Request deletion of your data, where we're not legally required to keep it

  • Object to or restrict certain uses of your data

  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@c6boards.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can also contact your national data protection authority, in Sweden, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this policy, we'll update this page and revise the date above.
